Bob Arnz


Bob Arnz  co-founder and partner of IMX

is one of the most experienced and successful music managers, producers and songwriters from Germany. As of  2001 he works and lives in Ibiza.

He started his musical career in the 80s playing in different bands and eventually switched to the other side of the music business where he worked as A&R manager at EMI Germany for several years. During this time, he collaborated with such bands as the Scorpions and Grönemeyer.
Since 1990 he has developed different music concepts as well as producing and composing for various artists,
many of whom have achieved top chart positions.
His brainchild of  “singing German container stars” – the concept, production and composition of songs for ‘Big Brother’ Season 1 and 2 was an instant success with several No. 1 hits and over 6 million units sold.
In 2005 he developed the platinum act ‘LaFee’, co-composed and produced all songs and additionally took over the management of the young artist. The success was phenomenal: two No.1 albums, numerous top ten singles and far more than 1 million units sold as well as several sold-out concert tours.
Bob’s artists and productions were nominated 8 x for the ECHO Music Award and won the prize 3 x.
He has been signed to publishing companies such as BMG, EMI and Sony/ATV in the span of over 25 years.
Through his decades of support and development of especially very young and inexperienced artists, Bob has gained a unique experience in dealing with every facet of the music industry.
